Installation services at The Operation Art Exhibition
The Operation Art Exhibition is a joint initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the New South Wales Department of Education, showcasing over 630 artworks from NSW students from kindergarten to year 10. In collaboration with the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, and the Art Gallery of NSW.
We are proud to provide installation services to this exhibition every year, held at The Armoury Gallery at Sydney Olympic Park.
Our installer Alex and the team have done a beautiful job with installation services. With a maximum load capacity of 50 kg/m, hanging all the artwork on the Click Rail Pro picture hanging system was the obvious choice. Paired with the 1 mm twister cable hangers and frame hanger fittings on each artwork, the result is a seamless high hang with a flat-to-the-wall finish.
Fifty of the artworks from the Operation Art Exhibition have been selected by a team of judges to Tour NSW regional art galleries before being gifted to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead as part of their collection, promoting health and wellbeing through art. Many of the other entries are also donated to regional hospitals in NSW by Operation Art.
The exhibition opens this weekend at The Armoury Gallery.
10am – 4pm, 17 September – 30 October (weekends only) & every day during the school holidays 26 September – 7 October. Entry is Free.
Located within Newington Armory, through the gates at the Armory Visitor Centre.
